Yet we come out adults, adults with all the life and child-like personality traits drained out of us with every test, every assignment, every sleepless night we take on, making sure we’re staying on top of our school work. And all for what? A letter grade?

I find myself missing the darkness. Not the kind of darkness that can be stowed away by the flick of a switch, but the inner darkness of my knotted up mind. The days don’t repeat on loopty loops anymore.
